Your weight goal and zone are automatically calculated according to recommendations by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Diabetes Prevention Plan. Your weight loss goal will be 7% off of your current weight (or 93% of your current weight).
As an example, if your current weight is 200 lbs., a 7% reduction in weight would equal a weight loss goal of 186 lbs. However, you may adjust your weight goal as you wish in the Noom app.
If you’re on an iOS device:
- Open the Noom app and tap the profile picture icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down to Goal Weight and tap the Goal Weight bar to open up the slider bar.
- If needed, you can tap pounds, kilograms, or stone to toggle between these options.
- Slide your finger left or right across the slider bar to select your new goal weight.
If you’re on an Android device:
- Open the Noom app and tap the profile picture icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Weight Loss Plan.
