If you’re using Noom on your Android or iOS device, your step goal will be set to 2,000 steps from the beginning. Going forward, your pedometer will adjust in the following way:
- If you don’t take any steps or the pedometer doesn’t detect any steps, your step goal will revert to the initial settings of 2,000 steps.
- If you reach the target steps, your target step goal will increase.
- If you don’t reach the target steps, your step goal will decrease.
Adjusting Your Step Goal on iOS
To adjust your Step Goal:
- Tap the Walk task card on the home screen of the Noom app. If you don’t have the Walk task card, tap + Track More Habits on the home screen of the Noom app and then tap Move.
- Tap Steps.
- Tap Edit Daily Step Goal.
- Slide your finger left or right across the ruler to select your new step goal.
- Tap Update Step Goal.
- Tap the X in the top right corner of the screen to return to the home screen.
Adjusting Your Step Goal on Android
To adjust your Step Goal:
- Tap the Walk task card on the home screen of the Noom app. If you don’t have the Walk task card, tap + Track More Habits on the home screen of the Noom app and then tap Movement.
- Tap Steps.
- Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap Adjust Step Count.
- Type in your new step goal and tap Save.
- Tap the back arrow (<) in the top left corner of the screen to return to the home screen.
