Why aren’t my Fitbit steps syncing? (iOS)

Seeing steps on your Fitbit, but not on your Noom app? Make sure you’ve synced your Fitbit device between the Fitbit app and your Fitbit cloud account. You can also follow Fitbit’s guide for setting up your Fitbit device.

If  your Fitbit and Noom are set up properly but your steps still aren’t showing in Noom:

  1. Open Noom and tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and tap Connect Additional Devices
  4. Tap Okay! on the Quick Tip pop-up window to proceed to the next screen
  5. Tap Disconnect next to Fitbit
  6. Go to your Fitbit account and search for Noom Coach
  7. Tap Revoke Access
  8. Open Noom to reconnect your Fitbit
  9. Tap Settings
  10. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and tap Connect Additional Devices
  11. Tap Connect next to Fitbit
  12. Select Allow All
WARNING: All 3 options MUST be selected or your steps won’t sync. They aren’t optional!
  13. Tap Allow
  14. Tap Settings
  15. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and tap Connect Additional Devices
  16. Select Fitbit

The initial sync may take a while. If your steps still don’t show in Noom, please contact us and we’ll help you sync your steps from Fitbit to the Noom app. Just make sure to let us know how many steps show on your fitbit.com cloud account and your Noom account.
